Ok, this place surprised me. In a good way. I'm always afraid to try little places in dingy strip malls, but I'm glad that I did. Nothing fancy here, but it's clean and simple. The food.. Well, you know how when you're eating something, and you don't want to stop eating it because it tastes so good - even though your stomach is screaming "NO MORE"? Yeah, that happened. Had the "crabmeat" rolls, which were your basic spring roll, with fake crab, served with sweet/sour dipping sauce. They were ok, but like I said, basic. The pad ped with shrimp was delicious. That's what I couldn't stop eating (and still had more to bring home!), because it was almost perfect - but not up to spice. I ordered "medium" and calling it mild plus would be a stretch. But, still good. I'll just order it spicier next time. Also had Thai iced tea - it was great, but would have preferred it in a glass, rather than a styrofoam cup. Same for the yummy shrimp chips - it would be nice to serve them in a basket for people dining in. Little things, but nothing that will prevent me from returning.

Food is always very good. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to special requests. My favorite is the pad Thai with peanut sauce.

This has to be the best thai food in the area. The staff is always friendly and I have never had an issue with my order. The crispy rolls are to-die-for. Every entree I have tried has always been tasty. The portions are insanely huge (especially if you dine in). I can't recommend this place enough.

Lil Thai....BIG portions! Big flavors! Big plants inside...and a big selection of magazines to peruse while eating or waiting for a carry-out. There's usually one really nice, hard-working lass manning the phones and register while waitressing. Give her a sec-she won't be long. I dig this place and will be back!!

Prolly not a lot of Thai to choose from around here, so I thought I'd give the diminunatively named Lil Thai Express a shot. Doesn't look like much from the outside, set in a dumpy strip mall with garish neon signs and a bumpy parking lot. The grease cloud that welcomed me didn't seem to bode well either, but the joint still seemed to serve up some pretty swell Pad Thai, though. The beef was a little tough (that's what I get for not trusting their shrimp on my maiden voyage) and the "hot" spice setting was less than challenging to my midwestern pallette, but that pad Thai did hit the spot nonetheless. The egg was yummy and the noodles had just the right consistency. Lil' Thai has a whole bunch of magazines up front for patrons to peruse, too. I looked through a Time with the 100 Most Influential People while I was there. The service is prompt and friendly as well. Plus the orange painted walls have some deliciously tacky and outlandish paintings adorning them. Not a bad lil' hole in the wall.

Hubby and I went here for dinner on one Saturday night. They had a decent sized dining room. We then realized it might have been better for takeout as it was just me, my hubby and our son in the dining area. Our server was taking phone orders as well as our own. Prices were good and the food was tasty. Upon being there, their credit card machine broke down and people were having to pay cash for their orders, but the same girl who took the orders was on the phone now trying to get the machine fixed. Luckily, it was fixed by the time we wanted to pay as I had no idea where the nearest ATM was located.

Perfect lunch spot. Food is always delicious, and the portions are HUGE. Never had a bad experience.

Ok, so I've done the take out dance twice here so far. Both times I got my "go-to" masaman curry. Sweetie got pad pak the first time and veggie curry the second time, both times they made our food the correct amount of hot. My masaman curry was consistently PDG and Sweetie was pleased with his meals. I FREAKIN LOVE a consistent food joint! The inside is set up with booths, but it's kinda on the janky side, they really are primarily set up for take out, they work in the take out milieu really well. Staff is courteous and zoom zoom speedy .
